February 2000 Meeting

On February 27th we met at our club member Marti's house in Templeton, California.   Our club elected a new President - Susan Yslas!! Congratulations Susan!! We also voted on a new set of bylaws to ensure the future fun of our club.

We also signed up another new member, welcome Nancy!!  Our club has had recent success in building membership due to an article in Barbie Bazaar, and the local newspaper.

Once again we enjoyed a show and tell session. Tina brought a "Cleopatra" which everyone agreed was a very good likeness of Liz Taylor.  Marti showed us her latest great buy.  A vintage case with some really nice fashions and a few dolls that need some TLC.  She sure can find some cool stuff!!

As the meeting was coming to a close Marti pulls out her famous "boxes" and we all had fun wading through her Skipper population!! Thanks once again Marti for a great meeting at your home.  You are a great hostess, and keep bringing out those "boxes" for us, we never get tired of them.
